Ms. Henningsgard's Classroom

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

 

My name is Taylor Henningsgard. I am originally from Buxton, North Dakota, where I coached T-ball for several years, and I also helped out with numerous youth basketball camps around the area. I love working with and helping children and that is why I decided to go into teaching! Other than my love for kids, I enjoy playing and watching sports, listening to music, swimming, making artwork, and spending time with my family.

 

Sports were important to me growing up. In basketball, I was the Senior Athlete of the Year my senior year of High School. After highschool, I went on to play 4 years of college basketball. Within those 4 years I received honors for 2 Region MVP's, 3 All-Conference awards. In 2014, I graduated from Dickinson State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I graduated with an overall GPA of 3.9.

 

I am thrilled to start my first year of teaching here at Central Valley School. I cannot wait to work with your child! I know that I am entering a time full of learning, not just from students but for me! Please feel free to stop in, call, or email me if you have any questions or anything at all.
